DEVELOPING TRADE SKILLS FOR A HEALTHY FUTURE

Health is more than just physical.

1. Trade Skills

2. Economic Security

3. Institutionalization

4. Health Promotion & Advocacy

Our Mission

Improve Health and Economic Security of vulnerable young people and women in Uganda through mobilization, skilling, linkages and advocacy.

Our Vision

A healthy society where people are able to pursue their dreams

At Initiative for Better Health, we know that true well-being comes from addressing four key aspects of health.

Helping Skilled People Get More Jobs

In Uganda, many talented people have great skills, but they don't earn much because they don't have big clients. At Initiative for Better Health, we connect these skilled people with bigger jobs so they can make more money. And in return, they teach our students while doing these jobs.

Earning While Learning

Students facing financial challenges can now earn an income by applying their learning directly to their chosen trade. This unique method allows them to finance their education and take care of their basic needs while actively studying.

Support for Communities

Initiative for Better Health generates its own funds, employing creative strategies to combat health challenges in Uganda. Explore our latest initiatives, including HIV awareness concerts, Transparency = Trust, and the Topsoil Initiative, aimed at improving community well-being.

“We are looking forward to a generation of Ugandans who can utilize institutions like this to acquire skills that will make their existence in the 21st century a reality.”
